Dr. Emmanuel Moore ABOLO ,PhD-Econs, is the Record-Keeping Club Adviser.

Known globally as The Risk Master, DR Emmanuel Moore Abolo holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics [specializing in Econometrics/Public Finance] and has over 30 years of dynamic and impactful knowledge in risk management, corporate governance, strategy crafting, conflict management, HR, transformational leadership, and compliance with extensive experience cutting across several sectors and industries.

He was the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer at Nigerian Export-Import Bank [Nexim Bank]; Chief Economist at First Bank of Nigeria Plc. & Access Bank Plc as well as Basel Accords Project Manager at both banks.

He was a one-time Group Head, Operational and Market Risks at the above institutions.

He was a Graduate Assistant and an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Economics, University of Lagos and currently a visiting Senior Lecturer, Nexus International University, Kampala, Uganda.

He was also an Assistant Fellow, National Centre for Economic Management and Administration, Ibadan [a public sector training institution under the then Federal Ministry of National Planning, Nigeria].

Dr Abolo is an IFC-Certified Corporate Governance Board Leadership Trainer; Director, Centre for Good Corporate Governance of Nigeria. He was listed by the World Bank as one of the finest minds in risk management in Africa and a Recipient of the Federal Government of Nigeria National Merit Award.

Dr Abolo is the Founder & DG, The Economic Thinktank Centre; GMD/CEO, The Risk Management Academy Limited; Board member of five [5] other companies, including a Modular Refinery.

He was the Past President, Risk Management Association of Nigeria; Council Member, Gerson Lehman Group; President, Institute for Governance, Risk Management & Compliance Professionals; Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants; Fellow, Institute of Credit Administration; Fellow, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria; Fellow, Chartered Institute of Economists of Nigeria, etc. He was an International External Trainer [Risk Management] for KPM Learning & Development [Singapore]- Africa & Middle East.

DR Abolo has presented over 2000 papers at Workshops, Conferences, Seminars, etc both locally and internationally. He is an External Reviewer for three risk management journals in Ukraine and USA.

He is the author of the book: The Economics of Public Expenditure Analysis.
